This might be cheating.

Is Aku more dangerous than his primeval form with intelligence? And if he ever grows back into the size of his primeval form with his current intelligence, could the 3 gods even beat it a second time?

He's only a fragment of the ancient demon the gods just barely stopped, not that demon in a diminished form. Unless somehow the rest of the demon escaped he wouldn't be able to just "grow back".

As for OP nothing mortal can harm him, only deities or instruments of deities. I guess someone like Thor could fight him, but we've only ever seen Aku screw around with Jack and not truly fight him. The closest we get is the graveyard where near the end he gets annoyed and ends the fight in five seconds after he quits goofing off. Then again, that was Jack without his sword, and Aku is really afraid of that sword.

You can even argue that Aku threw his first fight with Jack to send him forward in time to torture and screw with him later, which would be a completely Aku thing to do.

People say that he's just a fragment of the black goo that fought the gods, but when Jake and Aku fights, Aku usually ends up cut to tiny pieces by Jack's sword, escapes as a tiny creature, yet he's back to full size soon.

When the gods talk to Jack's father they also say that "an ancient evil has been reincarnated" or something like that, no mention that Aku is a fragment of anything.

Plus, I dunno where people get that his first form wasn't intelligent. It was mostly shapeless but it shierked in pain and took the form of animals to fight, which is exactly what Aku does.

He was unprepared for Jack's skill level at the time of the fight. He also does not understand combat the way Jack does.
