Are you talking about single issues? They usually range from 20-35 pages, sometimes 40-60 for annuals/special issues.

The one on the left is a hardcover right? If that's the case, then both are still bigger than what I saw. It's hard to tell because they are only compared to each other and not something else. Anyway, I expected them to be 24-25 pages, it's the size itself that bothers me. It's shorter (in inches/centimeters) than a fucking envelope. Look at the pic I posted of the Sage comic. Let me bust out my camera. This is what every single mainstream comic book issue (called a "floppy") is going to look like, in the center there, with cassette tape, beer, microphone jack, and hamburger buns for scale. That's probably 11x8.5 inches but I haven't measured it.
On the left is the collected editions, called "trades". They're the same size, but thicker. On the right is Japanese comics, they're tiny. No idea why.
The toy gun was included for general American ambience.
