The Netflix DD suit is still fucking awful, even after he gets the new cowl. It looks stiff and restrictive, being made of leather and that thick canvas material, which doesn't play well with DD's high-mobility style. The cowl exaggerates Charlie Cox's already pug-like features and makes his whole head look boxy and large.

John Wick 2 did the right thing by pulling a "plain clothes that are actually bulletproof" thing. Hopefully we'd see more of that in future action movies and shows instead of ugly tacticool armor.

Well Matt does know a costume guy, maybe there will be more suits in the defenders. And Cage may not need protection but Jessica and Danny can still get stabbed and shot.
