They were cute movies, nothing great but really comfy, sad they stopped making them

I'll be called a cynic for sure, but I dislike fairies. They're all tricksters who view mortals as their playthings. This is especially true of the fairy godmother types, who pick winners and losers and provide just enough aid to keep the show going. The Blue Fairy, Cinderella's Godmother, even the jealous Tinkerbell.

Did you know initially that Peter was going to kidnap Wendy at knife point and force her to play mom for all the lost children in that eternal limbo called Neverland? That's how fairies are. It's all a game.

Maleficent may be a wicked hellion but at least she's honest about her intentions. Mortals are at most a beloved hobby. I'd compare it to the whims of the Greek Gods. People all just pieces on the great board.

I liked the movies, and the shorts. Pirate Fairy and Neverbeast were actually getting pretty good, and I'm sad to see them over. The comics are okay but outside Wings of Rani, none really stood out. And the short stories really weren't much more interesting.

Agreed, these fairies movies were pretty nice for what they were. Was really a shame to see them canned, especially with Neverbeast. It seemed like the team at least knew it was ending though, as that film felt like a sendoff in many ways. Better than nothing I guess.
