The simplistic art style doesn't mean we can't see his features. His physique is obviously well toned, and he has a strong jawline and a nice smile.

Personality-wise, he's not as stoic as you might think. There's been plenty of episodes where we've seen him show frustration towards his cause (like vs Mad Jack), a competitive spirit (especially with Scotsman), or a silly side (see gif related). He's also guilty of saying the wrong things at the wrong time on occasion (like to Mrs. Scotsman, for one)

His focus to his cause is incredibly admirable, as is his desire to help those he comes across, but he's still flawed, and, up until Season 5, naive to the modern Aku-dominated world he was thrown into. It's all incredibly charming when wrapped up in one husbando-worthy package.
