Yeah, I do think there's a difference between intricately elaborate and needlessly busy. Multi-piece outfits with complex layering are wonderful. On the other hand, these Enchantianimals are pushing up against 70s floral wall paper patterns. Too many colors and zero coordination.

I wish the faces would be dialed down a bit too, but doll people seem to like soulless gazes and really puffy cheeks.
