But even so, it must suck to be at the point where people don't even know you for your independent work anymore. Like, Danny was a musician before he was a Game Grumps co-host. He actually does have musical acumen and experience, both of which are probably the reason he got the job of writing the theme for this show.

that's the problem, since it's done in flash it looks cheap as hell. I get that it's a budgetary thing (because the moment you spend too much CN cancels your show and counts it as a tax loss) but Carrozza's artstyle looks like crap when it's done in flash. It's trying to be really cartoony but with all the tweening it just looks so cheap.

I don't remember NSP being all that well known until Dinosaur Laser Fight's music video, which got most of its attention because of the fact that Egoraptor animated it. I'd say most of their popularity came from Arin mentioning them several times during the Jon era and didn't truly become well known until Danny became Not-So-Grump.

The same thing has kind of happened with TWRP. People had no idea who they were until they started collaborating with NSP a lot, particularly on that big cover album they released last year.
