Why did no one tell me that The Great Mouse Detective was such a good movie?
>>
we only talk about things we hate
>>
>>90737101
I still want to fuck the dancer mouse and loli mouse
>>
We tried several times but you were too busy masturbating to listen.
>>
I fucking did
>>
>>90737101
Where do mice get such tiny guns?
>>
>>90737101
We thought you knew.
>>
>>90737187
From tiny mice gunsmiths.

What did they mean by this?
>>
If it's hand drawn and it's by Disney and it was made for theaters, just assume it's pretty gud.

Great Mouse Detective is definitely underrated by Disney standards, though. Disney sweeps that whole era under the rug because it doesn't fall under the five food groups (Star Wars, Marvel, Princesses, Mickey & Friends, Pooh)

>If it's hand drawn and it's by Disney and it was made for theaters, just assume it's pretty gud.
Home on the Range and Brother Bear weren't pretty gud.
>>
>>90737352
>Jungle Book
>pretty gud

Honestly, it was fucking boring as shit and shoddy as fuck. Only songs of note were Bear Necessities and I Wanna Be Like You, and aside from that there was practically nothing redeemable about the movie.

I have no idea how I enjoyed it so much as a kid, I can go back and watch other Disney movies I loved as a kid but Jungle Book drives me to fucking boredom.
>>
>>90737101
When I was little Rattigan was scary as fuck to me. He always seemed one wrong word away from chomping fingers off.
>>
>>90738178
You're right, brother bear was a masterpiece.
We may be anonymous but I will jump out of the screen and fuck you to death.
>>
>>90737101
We shouldn't have had to tell you.

It's elementary, my dear anon.
>>
>>90737107
>dancer mouse
I'm with you there
>loli mouse
You're on your own.
>>
>>90737226
Honestly? I think they were just having fun, plus it fits the area the characters where at.
>>
>>90738246
I enjoyed what came from it, that being Talespin, and it was also the last movie that Walt himself had a hand it.
>>
>>90738273
Still a great villain.
>>
>>90738273
to be frank, the Bat popping out like some horror movie monster not once but twice, scarred me a bit.
>>
>>90738246
Nigga, jungle book is top of its game.
>>
>>90737205
Idk why this made me laugh so hard
>>
>>90737101
For some reason people completely overlook this gem. Rewatched it a few months ago after more than 10 years, pure magic.
>>
>>90739031
reverse that and I'm with you
>>
Why did the 90s have a thing for mice?
>>
>>90742518
theyre small and scrappy and resourceful
>>
>>90742518
I've always wondered the same thing
Was it an attempt to make a new Mickey/Jerry? Were mice just easy to make metaphors of? Was the idea of the human world from the eyes of a small creature a popular theme? Or was it all just coincidence?
>>
>>90737101
It's so good people just forget it isn't an obvious fact to others who haven't seen it.

that seen where Ratigan sentences a drunk mouse to death by being swallowed alive by some fat fuck cat severely messed with my psyche as a kid.. I remember hiding my face at that seen and it hunting me for a good time afterwords!

poor fella
>>
>>90742841
I see it as a combination of Mickey's popularity, the whole "human world from their view" and a tiny society that lives right below us and we don't notice". Plus their fun to draw and some can be cute.
>or hot, I don't judge
>>
>>90743262
Well he did call him a... well you know.
>>
>>90737101
I always mention that it's one of my favorites on here, there's always a retarded contrarian who craps on it.

Jungle Book is great you pleb.

>Turns into a feral beast and beats Basil half to death

Ratigan is god tier.

>>
>>90743182
Think of it this way; you could've ended up a vorefag instead.
>>
>>90737101
It had potential to be a much better movie frankly. The central plot of him losing confidence and gaining it back felt too forced and unnecessary, and the Sherlock Holmes vibe is never 100% paid off.
>>
>>90743471
I wasn't talking about myself, but close.
>>
>>90743515
Yeah, Basil would have no doubt been killed by him if Big Ben didn't ring and cause him to fall off.
>>
>>90743471
It's funny how that would probably be the equivalent in the movie if they were people instead of mice.
Imagine basil calling ratigan a nigger when he busts in the palace.
ratigans reaction to it is perfect too.
>>
>>90743569
Funny you should mention that, whenever i come across vore shit it gives me the hebejebes... To me its the fetishization of death.
>>
>>90743543
I love /k/fags, always pointing out small details that no one else would give a second glance
>>
>>90743731
i wonder if this is why Disney has put his film on the back burner
>>
>>90737226
"I know times are hard, but really, let me get that dick"
It's not like it was cryptic, anon.

Wouldn't be surprised if she and her friends did some back room work.

Of course not. It's on the backburner because it's not about princesses and the romance of said princesses.
>>
post more Miss Kitty

I'd rather not deal with hotpockets.
>>

but she's a mouse!

This came out in 86
>>
I didn't think it was that great. The animation wasn't that good, the music sucked. The ending scene in the Big Ben wasn't that bad, though.
>>
>>90748462
This. I remembered the movie being much better because it ended on such a strong note. But after watching it recently I found a lot of things lacking.
>>
>>90748462
Better stick to Brisby then.
>>
>>90738246
Jungle Book is pretty great though.
>>
>>90737226
"Seems like they don't care that we're working with our pants down."
>>
I would fuck Miss Kitty Mouse
>>
>>90743515
Ratigan is the epitome of what makes Disney villains so great.
>>
>>90737187
Disney /k/ is PRECISION ORIENTED
>>
>>90738246
As a fan of Kipling, it drives me nuts. As Disney goes, it's one of the best.

>tfw will never have a book-accurate Kipling anything ever.

Not even The Man Who Would Be King with Connery and Caine.
>>
>>90738273
It's Vincent fucking Price. If you ain't scared, it's a comedy.
