A duel between Union Jack and Spades Slick would've been cool, but Hussie decided to go the "edgy xdddd" route and have him become a villain out of nowhere, have UJ headlock Dirk then SS headlock UJ, ending with Dave cutting their heads off. If The kids didn't interfere and let them fight, it would've been a rather kickass moment. If Hussie desperately wanted Slick to die, he could've let Union Jack's Epilepsy Nuke take him with him, ending it on a nice note for Slick.

Honestly, what Homestuck became was so crushing to me. To me and a lot of people, Homestuck was one of the best internet-made works out there, certainly the only plot-based webcomic worth reading from start to finish unironically. You could tell Hussie really had a lot of fun with it, he interacted with the fans, made references to memes and theories.

Then Act 6 came and he just fucked it up. Like always, the cancer that is Tumblr swooped in and ruined everything. They were his biggest fanbase, so he (at least felt) like he had to cater to them and just filled the damn thing with worthless SJW bullshit. Then he just kept having pauses, getting bigger and bigger each time to the point it was hard to even care about Homestuck anymore because it was so long since it updated. Then he just started blatantly outsourcing to other, usually shitty, artists instead of giving us the charming visuals he'd been providing the first five Acts.

All leading up to a half-baked, still incomplete ending that just leaves an empty feeling inside.

Homestuck had the potential to be one the greatest web THINGS ever, but it got ruined. It's like watching a kid grow up and getting straight A's in school, but then in college becoming a drunken drug abuser that's a hollow shell of their former self. It's just depressing.
