Remember when Jim Balent could draw women with breasts that weren't larger than their heads?
Peppridge Farm remembers.

Oh christ. There's a cover coming up that is amazingly awful
>>90621351
>Oh christ. There's a cover coming up that is amazingly awful
I think the award for the worst cover goes to Catwoman 1 million.

I remember someone mentioning this run in a JSA thread. Issue 4's cover is godawful, and must be a reference to something. How far do you plan on going for? Brubaker stuff?

>I remember someone mentioning this run in a JSA thread. Issue 4's cover is godawful, and must be a reference to something. How far do you plan on going for? Brubaker stuff?
I think after this i may do the 2001 2008 run.
>>90621518
I think I started at the Brubaker run, because this was a little too 1990s for me to handle at the time
>>90620876
I remember those purple boobs. Good times.

Cooke Redesign Became so iconic.

And Selina long hair.

A better cover.

A great comic written by a great female writer, who'd of thunk it?
Seriously though, the first time I read Catwoman, I was just expecting it to be soft-core porn for boys with little plot or story. Was pleasantly surprised to find out nothing could be further from the truth

Ugh

Brutal

I kind of just wish they'd kept the outfit she had in the 90's instead of going the whole "mod fashion" route with the Brubaker/Cooke era
I also really don't understand the need for the goggles either

>>90627007

No Problem.
>>90620876
bump
>>90622575
Cooke, Stewart, and March all do her far better.
>>90623214
Because the Cooke design is the best look she's ever had. The purple titty-sock outfit of the 90s was hardly a creative marvel, and I find the black leather zip-up suit and goggles to be sexier anyway, and it fits the motif of sneak-thief way better.
>>90629685
Leather is actually the wrong thing to wear if you want to do any sneaking or gymnastics.
>>90629998
Yeah and a bright purple cat outfit with thigh-highs isnt what you wanna be wearing either
Neat
Have a bump
