when Charles woke up and started talking to x-24 before it was revealed not to be Wolverine, I immediately pegged it as a shit-goes-wrong scene but in my naivety i expected it was a dream sequence that would send Charles into some kind of shock and fuck shit up in that way. When X got straight up cold blood murdered in the bed, I was legitimately shocked, and the ensuing chaos put a knot in my stomach and made me feel uneasy. Absolutely phenomenal movie.

The relationship between Xavier and Logan really did hit home for me how hard it is to be in that scenario and I did end up tearing up at X's final scene since my dad also went rather peaceful but abruptly
