Looking back, I can honestly say 4Kids dubs were perfect. One Piece being the sole exception, but apparently they had to dub that it they wanted Ultimate Muscle.(or something like that, it's a very weird situation)

4kids announced they had the Kinnikuman license well before Ultimate Muscle should have entered production and admitted that there was a point where they (very briefly) considered dubbing 80s Kinnikuman.

Either 4kids got super lucky or Ultimate Muscle was made specifically for 4kids. Given that the first season had 52 episodes and ended smack-dab in the middle of a filler arc, probably the later.

I think the only genuinely good thing they were ever responsible for was the TMNT cartoon.

But even that series had to bus in talent from LA, like writers and a voice director to try and get good performances out of the shit bottom budget trash VAs.

The fact the TMNT cartoon they made was even watchable is a miracle.
