I do worry a little that they might be used too much though and some of the magic of seeing them handle fights might be lost. I really like it a lot. I was looking forward to season 2 and it did not disappoint. It was everything I liked about the first season but more. No complaints.

The shop's current trajectory seems good as well. There are a decent number of mysteries to keep things interesting, I can appreciate them holding back classic favorite Lotor as long as they did, and they put Zarkon and Shiro aside at a good time.

They got a nice solid victory after two seasons. I think in S3 we're going to get a bit of an Empire Strikes Back situation as Voltron is knocked back onto its heels. Ultimately, looking beyond season 3, I wonder if we won't wind up fighting a bigger threat than the Galra at some point.
