The audience is also young adults which is one of the key demographics that like Superhero stuff.

Because all the other networks made their money off police procedurals and lawyer shows and they're not about to mess with a winning formula. The CW meanwhile is so far down the totem pole that they have nothing to lose.

What about Netflix. Netflix made a great season 1 Daredevil, Season 2 was half GOAT (Punisher) and half merely fine (Hand and Electra). Jessica Jones was good. Luke Cahe was solid. Iron Fist looks great and Punisher will be great.
