I get the feeling that we'll never see those again, after 6 seasons of TCW (where they were redesigned as a GAR fighter), 3 seasons of Rebels, Rogue One, all these comic books, and a brief mention in the novels, it seems to be one of those designs LSG doesn't care much about, which isn't too surprising since it's just an X-wing without the X and we've already got 3 of those plus the unseen T85 x-wings in TLJ. It's not one of the EU designs I'd ever get my hopes up to see, even the gladiator and victory star destroyers are all but absent outside of a mention in Tarkin.

Neither Thrawn nor Prycu strike me as being reflexively vindictive like Vader. Lyste screwed up big time by letting himself get framed, but it's really only his second strike. Successfully training a Padawan doesn't mean you're automatically promoted to being a Jedi Master. If it did, there'd be more Masters than standard Knights. That's not how a hierarchy works. The further you ascend, the more in the minority you are.

So Doctor Aphra is legitimately telling the story of the Hundred-Year Darkness and the creation of the Sith. That's fucking awesome. I assumed as much but had a sneaking suspicion that they were gonna pussy out and make the Ordu some random splinter group of Jedi. Also the Order of the Terrible Glare is already canon since they were mentioned in Servants of the Empire but I guess Ordu Aspectu is the old tongue translation of the name (which also means that the old tongue is canonically latin which is cool as fuck and now that I think about it brings some parallels between the Jedi Order and Catholic church both using Latin as their religion's main language).

This is what the Empire teaches, but I am sure this was the belief of the Seperatists too, that they were fighting in self defense when the Jedi made it clear they were going to fight.

According to my autism the DarkHorse stuff feels more genuinely like SW than TCW. I don't hate the show, it has some great stuff but if I had to choose between it and Republic/Dark Times/Empire/all the DH Vader books I'd choose those in a heartbeat.
