Earth-15 was the "perfect, peaceful world" that Superboy Prime blew up in Countdown. It's still a dead world in the current multiverse, but I guess they're officially retconning how and when it got destroyed.

According to Multiversity the Universe is also home to something called the Cosmic Grail, which the residents of another Universe want to find as it's the key to restoring their own world which suffered a nuclear holocaust. Might be relevant to Volthoom's story. Or not.

This is a new addition to Lantern Lore. The first seven Green Lanterns were created to defeat and imprison Volthoom. Then the rings were locked away. Presumably this happened before the Manhunters were built, then after the Manhunters went rogue, the Guardians turned back to the rings.
