Strange's solution to fighting the final boss was pretty great, though. I much prefer heroes solving finale battles through cunning or perseverance rather than just raw strength or blowing them up. It's part of why I really like Pixar's finales.

With this and Ant-Man, they're unproven characters that don't have the Avengers movies to advertise them, so Marvel (and let's be real here you know it's Disney) have to make them as safe as possible to minimize risk and make them appeal to grandma and grandpa and international audiences.

This is why the movies will never live up to the comics.
