a lot of kids shows do. Transformers, Thundercats, Gargoyles, Avatar, it makes sense because you want kids invested enough to keep tuning in and by the merc.

Not a specific place, but Scooby-Doo mansions in general. All those secret passageways and hidden rooms on top of the normal cool mansion stuff like the library, study, dining room, conservatory, and underground lair for diabolical plotting. Not to mention the wonderful kitchen and luxurious bedrooms.

The same could be said for the Thundercats's lore too, even if not in such large scale like MOTU. Which is why He-Man and the Thundercats work perefectly together as franchises, something that the current great crossover between them is showing clearly. They bot could easily be the same extended Universe.

This is a simplified version for Grayskull's playset. Grayskull is like an interdimensional crossroad, and basically unexplored for the most part, because of its mystical nature.
