Why even bother with this? It was moderately successful in the UK at the time of its release, but hasn't it turned into a cult classic now? Who exactly is their audience here? The people who are aware of the book and/or the animated film won't like this, and no one else will care.

I swear to god, execs REALLY REALLY REALLY go overboard when it comes to brands. They think that as long as a piece of media has a brand, it can be sold.
