You need the crusader (or maybe man at arms) to have your big bulky knight guy for the audience to understand the situation and time period, an antiquarian for a straight man in a situation the audience might not be familiar with, and I could see lots of banter between the occultist and vestal about different means to complete the same goals and different ideologies.

Well, we already have one, but let's do it anyway.
There's not much of a plot, so I guess it could be an episodic jouney of Link across Hyrule, looking for the dungeons.
Every episode, by solving the episode's problem (rescuing someone he stumbled upon, fighting a tribe of centaur barbars, running from a platoon of moblins trailing him etc.), he'd get a clue that may or mai not hel him to find them (an old man's cave, a criptic carving etc.).
Standard solitary adventure, basically. However he could also get a sidekick to avoid having too much silence, like in the other games of the series.
I'd watch it even if it sucked, probably.

I guess it's basically an action show with the players monologueing and interacting with the AI and each other to craft a narrative of sorts. Otherwise it were just yet another costume about European powers, except no depth to personal diplomacy because you play more as the state than the monarch.

Each episode we see a group of 4 with different colored clothing to show that who we are watching isn't the same person from a previous episode. Maybe have one remain the same color and make an episode focused on how many of these heroes die.

It was crap, but we all knew it would be. Previews showed a colorful, beautiful world, haunted by former glory and filled with despair. Trailers and interviews promised a minimalist narrative, relying on visuals and tine to tell the story. Final product was... loud, boring, and about friendship for some point because the original team realized their plans wouldn't work, bailed, and the project was given to a group who wiki'd the game for all their references.
(But if you changed the title from "Dark Souls" people would hate it less.)

Got a similar treatment to Wakfu or Avatar in that it was a fantasy setting, had a childish start, and picked up the pacing and mature themes as it went. Two planned seasons, and oddly good characters given most characters in the game have two-sentence personalities anyway. Obviously Agrias, Melidoul, and the Heaven Sage is introduced as early as possible to draw in the waifu crowd.

Against all odds, this show was great. At least before the sequels. Short and sweat, X and Zero going on their own quests through an automated, chaotic, and malfunctioning world. Aesthetic is horror, but bright and eye-catching. No characters are quite sure who to trust, and the nature of the Signa Virus reveals itself to be less an infection, and more an ideology. 10/10, don't bother with the sequels and spinoffs.
