Season 3 was such a clusterfuck I couldn't even tell where the fuck the plot was supposed to be going.

They crammed in WAY too much shit for one Season.

First it was shit about Doctor Strange and Fish Mooney
And shit with Valerie Vale (that went absolutely no where)
And shit about Ivy growing up
And shit about Penguin running for mayor
And shit about Penguin being in love with Riddler who's in love with some chick he knew for like an hour
And shit with the The Mad Hatter
And shit with people getting infected by Alice's Blood
And shit with Selina's Mom
And shit with Jerome coming back

And Im pretty sure that's not all of it but you can basically see the Main criticism of why the ratings have dropped

I'd be fine if they cancelled it, though. Three seasons is not a bad run and TV shows usually get pretty tired by their fifth season. If Gotham didn't return for a 4th season, I'd be fine with it as long as they wrap up the story lines.
