There were a few things wrong personality/continuity wise like the store tantrum and bubbles having ice breath that they could have easily fixed if the show took off. My only gripe was the awful art style.

so here's a question for /co/, how would you have handled a PPG reboot/revival if you had been in charge of it?

I probably would have done a proper timeskip to the girls being teens, if mostly to give it a bit of distance from the original, also figure it'd allow the things that are changed around to feel a little more natural since there'd be 5 to 11 years or so in universe between the original series' events and that of the revival(although I'd go in a different direction for a lot of the changes than PPG2016 did, like having Ms Bellum become the new Mayor of Townsville for example)

I personally would remove, retcon or just kill MoJoJo in the first episode as babby's first villain. Never liked the guy, too stupid stuck up his own ass for me.
Remove all the comic relief villains like Fuzzy Lumpkin.

I'd take the show in a more full action oriented way, while the fun episodes like the attack of the brocolli aliens would be put in a separate series for kids.
I'd remove all the naivity, gullibleness and stupidity of the PPG. I'd make Bubbles less bubbly and equally smart to Blossom to break the stereotype that blondes are dumb and somehow redheads are intelligent. I'd give Buttercup longer hair and make her personality less like the stereotypical butch aggressive psychopath. Oh and I'd add more powerpuff girls with all sorts of different colored hair.

Episodes like the Speed Demon and the evil clones of the PPG would not be finished off so forcefully by quitting or coming up with a shitty "I kiss you, that means you explode".
I would consistently make the girls fight giant monsters and completely kill off the minor villains from the show like the gangreen gang, amoeba boys, princess starbucks and any other unworthy villains. Even HIM will get his ass severely murdered for acting like a faggot.

The chemical X would play an important part, being referenced and used half of the time as a plot device.
More episodes in space, on other planets, etc.

Basically I'd make it like the original Teen Titans. An actual super hero action show which isn't afraid to go edgy.
