The original Bates set is in Hollywood, the Barney shit is in Florida.

Nintendoland's going to be family rides, but more Pirates/Haunted Mansion then Fantasyland dark rides. Lineup is Mario Kart ride based on a Bowser's Castle track, a Yoshi dark ride, and a Donkey Kong Minecart coaster using a new coaster ride system to simulate the jumps.

This. The Spider-Man ride is good because it actually feels like you're inside a Spider-Man comic. Jameson is yelling at you to get good footage of what's going on, while making sly remarks hinting towards the fact that he only cares about money. Spider-Man is making jokes, jumping around and being obnoxious, the villains are constantly bickering. Meanwhile the Transformers ride is basically just a bunch of cool designs doing cool stuff, which I guess is an accurate representation of the Bay films.

It actually was going to. The plot was literally the same for Jurassic World. People go back to the park and try to remake it. They create Dino hybrids. They break out. The adventures of the kids on the island with hybrid dinosaurs. While the show never aired, the toys for the series were on the market.

One show, meant to air in prime time and keep some of the movie's tone, was going to be about an effort to restart the park as a scientific research preserve and BioSyn actually stealing DNA and trying and failing massively to start their own dinosaur park in Brazil. The first season ends on John changing his mind about the nature preserve idea and back to the tourist attraction and the other characters feeling betrayed, the last scene being opening day of operational Jurassic Park and John saying "Welcome to Jurassic Park".

The hybrids TV show that became the Chaos Effect toys came later and would have been full on Saturday morning stuff.

When I was a kid I went here and found out they were taping WMAC Masters that day. I thought I'd get to see awesome psuedo Mortal Kombat since I didn't know any better.

Instead my parents and I are the faceless shadow people who wave their arms in that "arena" thing along with every other tourist. We got soda vouchers for our time. The vouchers were good for an hour. I hated WMAC Masters after that.

Islands of Adventure was originally going to be full of WB characters.

Marvel Island was going to be Gotham City and Toon Lagoon was going to be Looney Tunes. But because Six Flags ended up with an exclusive contract for DC and Looney Tunes in theme parks, Universal had to find ways to fill the gap.

So they went with Marvel and King Features Syndicate/Jay Ward because the rights were dirt cheap and in Marvel's case, they were desperate for cash flow.

They will probably do a mix in Hollywood and Japan but not sure about Florida since the Nintendoland there is supposed to be part of a new Vidya based park. Theme park insiders have been saying it for a while that's what the land Universal bought is for along with some new resorts and they had already landed deals with Activision-Blizzard and Microsoft for attractions before landing Nintendo.

I could see the DKC attraction being the most "Intense" of them. Especially a "Jumping" coaster. But I wouldn't expect it to be the most intense part of the Vidya Park.
