i was under the assumption that there would be overarching plot development.
like it starts out repetitive in the beginning just so the show can get a foundation set. then as the show goes on, the episodes would start slowly building up this deeper story eventually leading to us understanding the main villain's motives and eventually confrontation between the main villain and the superhero
