Now, here's my reasoning: Iron Fist can make a punch that can blow away Luke, but the thing is that it's Danny's special ability, while Luke being strong enough that only Danny's special ability can do any damage to him is his default. I don't remember how durable Jess is, but I remember her getting slightly wounded by knives from Owl's men and in general when she takes damage she takes some sort of damage, unlike Luke who seems like a complete wall.
