If you want to get technical, it would depend on how much darkness is in said Gem's heart. Steven would probably end up as a Shadow due to not having a lot of darkness in him (and yes, this is due to Sora and Steven being similar).

As for the other CGs I'd have to take 'em case by case, but they would all be powerful.

Pearl would probably form a Heartless that's the strongest of the three at a glance (excluding Rose for obvious reasons) despite being the weakest due what's she's done in recent history. As to the type, my guess would be a Heartless similar to a Lance Soldier if her heart is stolen or an Invisible if she naturally gives into the darkness.

>Garnet

Garnet would form the weakest Heartless due to being an embodiment of love, but there's still a lot of negative stuff in her past that could boost the potential Heartless' strength. I can see her becoming one of the various Soldier-based Heartless if her heart is stolen and a Darkball if she gave into the darkness.

One oddity is the fact that Garnet's a fusion instead of a lone Gem. What would happen to Ruby and Sapphire if Garnet became a Heartless? Would they continue on existing but lack the ability to fuse with each other or would they incorporated into the new Heartless?

Amythest will require a bit of thinking, so I'll have to get back to you on that.

And then there's the whole Nobody bullshit, which I won't get into right now.

Does anyone really still think Jasper is getting redeemed? At this point I'd be a little disappointed if it happened. Her fierce devotion to Homeworld kept from accepting help even as she was turning into a monster. Even if she does get un-corrupted, I still don't think she'd accept the olive branch.

The only problem are most post S1 townie episodes which are seemingly created more out of misplaced obligation to create them rather than actually adding anything to the show. They aren't funny, they don't progress the plot, they don't have anything to do with characters beyond Steven, and thus the character development of the townies has nothing to do with the rest of the show. It's like a shitty mini-show that is tacked on to the actual show.

It's the lack of anything happening on screen to explain any of it. Lapis went from upset at Peridot to best fucking friends with her with nothing in between. Zuke gets blamed because Zuke has boarded every episode with Lapis and Peridot. Sure, other team members should have said no, but at the end of the day, Zuke was the one doing the boards, which are what goes in for animation.

Beyond that, Lapis's friendly side feels very forced with Zuke's writing. She seemed naturally awkward around Greg, yet with Peridot, she's basically a different person. She's completely cool with everyone, never has any issues, and is always engaging.

The core concepts of episodes are okayed by the entire crew. They probably brainstorm episode ideas and then decide on who does them afterwards. The episodes that Zuke does are mostly just Steven, Peridot, and Lapis. Therefore there aren't many opportunities in Zuke episodes for Lapis to interact with other characters making comparisons between how she interacts with other characters difficult. Of what we have Lapis is as distinct from the other characters as she is in any other episode. Any differences between Lapis between these episodes could be just as easily chalked up to the differing circumstances of the episodes themselves (which was come up by the Crew, not necessarily Zuke).

Some criticism against Zuke are legitimate. Her designs seem just as lazy as some other boarders and the writing isn't that great in some cases (specifically the tambourine bit just seemed like an excuse to animate Lapis using a tambourine). But beyond that a lot of the problems some anons have with Zuke as a boarder seems awfully contrived in order to fit the narrative they are trying to force around her inarguably unprofessional social media escapades.

As weird as it sounds, this change made sense.

She started off as the Gem equivalent of an annoyed office worker. You can tell by how bored she sounded in her first and second appearances while she was tending to her duties. Any time she showed emotion it was from Steven or the Gems interfering, or from narrowly escaping a pummeling. Once she was stranded on Earth, her craziness was due to her desperation to escape and her actually outsmarting/escaping the Gems.

After she loses her limb enhancements, her high and mighty attitude is not only her trying to say "at least I'm still smart and can build stuff", but that each victory she has is literally her winning at a handicap. Even with her newly acquired metal powers, she's still doing stuff mostly on her own with the Gem tech she's been relying on all these years. As for her obsession with Camp Pining Hearts and meepmorps: much like Pearl being unable to resist her baser instincts (cleaning up after people, organizing things and basically being a bag of holding), Peridot is drawn into the more mathematics side of shipping and the fun of building things.

It was the entire episode, along with all the previous episodes involving them. Change isn't always gradual for some people, sometimes all it takes is one large thing to happen for people to change. Lars was in love with Sadie, and Sadie was in love with Lars, they just needed one final push.

In The New Lars, Steven ruined Lars' entire life in one day. Everything he tried keeping hidden and held back for years was out into the open.

Sadie finally reached her breaking point with Lars'(Steven's) confession, as it was most likely the first time she had heard Lars confess his feelings for her, when she was already convincing herself that Lars didn't want a relationship.

I don't know if what you are posting is legit, but I do know that the show goes through revision phases that in some cases do proceed after an episode has already been aired. I am only familiar with changes made between initial airing and DVD release, but perhaps the time between releasing a show on itunes vs CN or streaming also is enough to fit in revisions.
