When does Space Ghost get good? Two seasons in, and it's mildly entertaining, but not really funny like Harvey Birdman.

I've been using it to fall asleep to. Not saying it's a boring show at all. It's just relatively comforting to sleep to.

I know how you feel, something about George Lowe's voice and the ambient space sounds really make me feel comfortable.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was just under the impression the show was bust a gut hilarious, but so far, it hasn't been.
Actually the show does get wackier around season 3. The whole talk-show thing kinda takes a backseat to shenanigans.

George Lowe actually lives in my town. His house is right behind a Chipotle. It's ridiculous seeing him just wander out to check his mail.

Some points are really fucking hilarious. But the majority of it is just hearty chuckle worthy. But it's nice since that's how it is for the entirety of the series.

It takes a while to find its stride. The first seasons were really more or less seeing 'what could we get away with' before it turned into all-out awkward silence and strangeness.
From the early episodes I'd recommend "Urges", "Jacksonville", "Anniversary".
"Pilot" onwards (which features Birdman) it more or less found its voice and should tell you if it's your thing or not.

I actually fell asleep in the middle of that one.

you didn't miss anything, he gets chased off by giant anthro parent ants at the end. The entire episode is a shitpost they made because the show was about to end

Your son bit me. What are you going to do about it?

Do you like sulfur?
