The question itself was bull to begin with, barely anyone ever asks that type of question outside of the most autistic of people, but what was more common was when the writers themselves seemed to know less about the show's plots and history than the fans.
It happens all the time, when a creator/writer gets criticisms they go for the weakest easiest criticism so they can label everyone that has criticisms as pathetic and petty as that autistic fan.
