What does the new Powerpuff Girls show lack from the original? (Besides having ridiculously sexualized women)

It lacks the crunch and punch.
OgPpg was like shattered glass and gravel in chunky peanut butter.

NuPpg is really soft and it has no weight or impact when it tries to.

This.

PPG was remarkable because it mixed girl and boy tropes almost seamlessly and with a strong sense of how to convey action and comedy with its abstract artstyle. Fists and jokes LANDED.

The new version is afraid of fucking everything but trying to be charming, like so much comedy these days. This could work with a new property, but is the opposite of the original PPG's charm.

Bubblevicious is the prime example of Crunch and Punch.

BubbleVision is also a good example of the smooth switch between cute problems, and giant ass monsters destroying the town.

Here we have a few fights from the newer ppg

It also seems they've traded in their large list of powers and techniques for Green Lantern Toy Constructs.

>Bubblevicious is the prime example of Crunch and Punch.
Actually, Bubblevicious is a pretty good example of why original PPG was good. Not only did it have a female character get the fucking tar beaten out of her for plot-relevant reasons (thereby EARNING her power), but it also deconstructed the whole "female empowerment" thing by showing the good AND the bad of having strength and having the end message be "being strong is good, but it must be tempered with peace and kindness".

Nothing. It only exists to shill toys. They should have aired reruns of the original Powerpuff Girls. They could still sell merchandise that way. I really am tempted to buy this Him pop but I am not gonna fund their shitty show.
