Now that it's over, what's the verdict /co/?
Personally, I loved it. Dumb, stupid fun with a 70's twist, and a perfectly fitting art style. Why is Genndy so based?
>>89292364
I enjoyed it as well, I wish Genndy would do more comic stuff.
>There are "people" on this very board that think Cage had bad artwork
>>89292678
Really? I haven't seen anyone trash it. Though, I haven't seen anyone really talk about it that much at all.
>>89292364
It was fun, but I wasn't a fan of the premise. I thought we'd be getting a Blaxploitation comic instead of just Cage beating up animal people.
>>89292364
When the fuck did it end goddammit? I thought there were only like two issues out?
Fucking loved it. Each issue I had a giant-ass grin on my face cover to cover.
>>89294538
Issue 4 was the last issue. Came out Wednesday.
>>89292364
>mfw when trying to argue with my lcs owner that Cage isn't racist propaganda
>>89294848
I could see how the first issue might be seen that way, but it becomes a complete trip-fest after that.
>>89292364
was it always slated for 4 issues?
>>89295676
Yes.
>>89295676
yes, but Marvel tried to play it as an actual ongoing series when they were pimping it as part of MARVEL NOW
It was enjoyable
I actually want prints of those trip pages in the second issue
>>89294848
That's fucking retarded. Like the people who claim everything Tarantino does is racist.
It's homage shit, chill out
>>89294538
Got your back, anon. There was a recent Storytime for all four issues: >>89230552
>>89292707
The storytime were filled with people complaining about the art.
>>89301443
Plebs, all of them
>>89299900
Lub ya anon and I'm sorry for any disagreements we had in the past
>>89303174
>implying
As I read it I could hear that funky 70s music in my head.
I was a bit put off by the art at first but I warmed up to it and I ended up really liking this comic.
