Weak start to the show. The moment the intro music begins, you know you're in for an awful, tiresome ride, because even the singer sounds like he doesn't want to be here.

The normal boy + wacky sidekick premise is cliched, rudimentary and poorly fleshed out. The acting is loud and annoying in typical Hartman fashion. Jokes are run into the ground, then dug back up and raped some more.

The only positives are the villain, who manages to evoke some of the fun of early FoP antagonists, and the solid visual production. You won't find the kind of amateurish mistakes that plague the Powerpuff reboot here. Yet, it's so lacking in artistry and creativity that it's largely a waste. There's not enough wow-factor here to keep the attention of even younger children.

Nick and Hartman both need to stop and take a look at what they're doing. Physically strap them to a chair, tape their eyes open, and force them to watch this show and then explain whom and what they think they're making this for.

pretty solid first episode, the script and dialogue were pretty funny and I did chuckle at all those moments I listed, I already like Amanda and Bunsen and I'm so glad the artstyle is nothing like calarts trash.

The show is so baren of distinctive point, it's literally pointless. "a boy with a monster friend" is a common set up, but each other shows gives it "a twist" or at least a setting. But that show is literally just the 3 MC having the same chemistry in every episodes, in the most boring setting possible.
It's just baffling, like they started to pitch the show, started with "ok, let's start, boy with monster, now show me why I pay you for" and instead of working, they went to show their new cars to each others.
