Cartoon Network fucking sucks now, it used to have amazing shows like Courage, Dexter's Lab, KND, Samurai Jack, Ed, Edd n Eddy and more, now it has shitty newer shows like SU, TTG, NuPPG, The Mighty Magiswords and NuBen 10
I miss the old cartoon network

Back to this shit are we lads?
Honestly, even similar a well cooked meme, good things become stale over time. How long could these shows have gone on for before the original writers and animators left production? These shows were not meant to hold their quality forever. We know this from (kek forbid) Spongebob and The Simpsons.
CN will eventually return to another renaissance or die off, letting another network take its place.
>>89255646
I miss the chowder/flapjack era.
I think what CN needs is more live action shows like Sam Hyde's Million Dollar Extreme
>>89256178
>CN will eventually return to another renaissance or die off
If they accept stuff like SWAT Kats Revolution or try to make stuff that range from younger kids and for teens that won't be brain-dead like TTGO, Nu-PPG and so on, then they have a chance.
Sadly they didn't have any interest in the new SWAT Kats and it seems that they won't be making something cool anymore.

You should snort mustard gas.
BRING BACK SNYDER

Careful anon, this topic is considered forbidden amongst the more radical /co/fags.
Boo hoo, maybe stop watching shows for children now that you're an adult?

>>89256377
You have objectively shit taste
I heard its the new President. She's on this Moral Guardian kick where every show has to be kid-safe and dumbed down.
>>89256652
Wew lad. Where the hell do you think you are?
>>89256377
why do people like steven universe? i never got it, but maybe i'm just too old a fag
>>89256313
They didn't accept SWAT Kats cause they knew they couldn't make it kid friendly with the creator's being so protective
>>89258760
The same reasons why kids like TTG or why adults watch TWD

Future Buzzfeed headline:
"Are 2000s kids the new 90s kids?"
>>89258760
People like it because it's essentially a 90s anime combined with a Disney musical.

>Cartoon Network fucking sucks now, it used to have amazing shows like Courage, Dexter's Lab, KND, Samurai Jack, Ed, Edd n Eddy
CN always sucked because existed for reruns of old Warner Brothers animations, other shows ( Courage, Dexter's Lab, KND, Samurai Jack, etc) only existed for fill spaces.
>On February 18, 1992, Turner Broadcasting System announced its plans to launch the Cartoon Network as an outlet for Turner's considerable library of animation.[6] On October 1, 1992, Cartoon Network played "The Star Spangled Banner" (which was a tradition whenever a new Turner-owned network launched) and a video of a person placing a dynamite in a field and then blowing the dynamite up, the channel's launch then occurred on that day and was hosted by the MGM cartoon character Droopy in a special event called Droopy's Guide to the Cartoon Network, during which the first cartoon on the network, The Great Piggy Bank Robbery, was shown.[7][8][9][10] Initial programming on the channel consisted exclusively of reruns of classic Warner Bros.

Touting "90s Cartoon Network" with shows that premiered in the latter half of the decade...

Was just about to post this.
The Tex Avery Show in particular was as boring as an hour long block of Steven Universe.

I think you mean Samurai Jack or Regular Show.

>>89261181
Ding ding ding.
90s CN was Hanna-Barbera trash with maybe something cool once in a while, but mainly trash.
It wasn't until 1999 that it started getting good.
>>89261377
Cartoon Network did not even exist until late 1992, and wasn't really picked up by any major cable providers until 1994-5. The CN originals began with What a Cartoon in 1995 which spawned many of the cartoons on that list.
