Yeah that looks like typical DC badguy mercenary design. You see how the sneaking suit design in MGS has ll the straps, belts, and strings and all to make the suit realistically tight, but also appear to have padding in them for armor. I know it's not fair to compare 3D model to comic books though, just a fun comparison.
