The "Time Machine" is actually a dimensional hopper, not a real time machine. It goes to another universe like that one that happens to be at another point in time, that's why they run concurrent with each other and time passes the same length between them.

Killed-Cell trunks and Future Trunks just typed in the same dimension number on their machine, Cell even admits he didn't program it, just pushed a button, and Future Trunks admits if he ever changed a setting, he'd never be able to go back to that universe again.

Battle of the Gods yeah, that went on far too long, the movie repeat arcs were a bad idea since those stories were meant to be fairly short, and when you artifcially stretch out a short story.. well it feels that way.

He fights not because he enjoys it but because he feels it's his responsiblity to use his power to protect his family and the people in general. Yeah it's weird but the Spirit Bomb sword at least made thematic sense, the whole arc was about Mortals vs Gods, the power of mortals defeating the ultimate evil Mad God was a thematically fitting end to the story.

The Super Sayian Form, really has any Super Sayian form other than SSJ1 and the God ones been explained much beyond "they trained and/or got really angry and ascended past their previous limitations"

My main issue was Zeno at the end since like how Goku ultimately saving the day in the Buu saga screwed up it's theme of the next generation picking up the torch, Zeno saving the day screwed up the themes of Gods vs Mortals and Gods not really being inheirently superior just because they are gods as Zamasu though
