>Has used traditional animation for even the newer seasons
>gets moved to Nicktoons
>suddenly Flash animation.

Okay, NOW I can say this show is officially dead.
>>89112558
Well, dead would imply that the show has fully stopped airing new episodes.
If anything, it's on its deathbed.
Any webms of how the animation looks now?
>Fairy Odd Parents has ran longer than Ed Edd N Eddy
Crocker is still funny then
>>89112745
It's on the bloody twitter but here's your webm
The tweens are noticable
>>89112745
it's just got that bouncy Flash look. it doesn't look horrible but definitely cheaper. reminds me of Johnny Test.
>>89112558
Where were you when the Scrappy Doo of the 21st century showed up?
>>89112931
Seeing a mention of Johnny Test almost made me hear whipcracks while watching the webm
>>89112865
Ed Edd N Eddy had a proper conclusion in the form of a movie though
>>89112865
One turned to shit while the other didn't.
Better like this.
>>89112931
It reminds me of Total Drama Island
>>89112865
>>89113334
>>89113335
Sometimes, dead is better.
>>89112898
Animation is dead, just burn the entire industry right now and try to rebuild on the ashes
>>89113334
Ed Edd N Eddy was already shit though.
>>89113506
It's become the Family Guy model: major library of reusable assets with only minor extensive animation for gags
>>89113334
So did Fairly Odd Parents. They just decided to keep it going after that.
>>89112898
I'm surprised they didn't switch sooner. FOP's artstyle lends itself to puppetry pretty well, ecspecially since the characters are made to only look right from a handful of angles. It's always been a colossal waste of traditional animation.
>>89113614
but traditional is always better
>>89113680
Hawt
>>89112898
I have seen flash porn gamesade in 2004 with better animation
>>89113614
And yet the flash looks like absolute shit
Way to late in the shows lifespan to be of any real consequence.
Let it rest.
>>89113548
The did?
>>89113707
>>89113801
it looks fine
this is what actual shitty flash looks like
>>89114084
this can't be real
>>89112898
A bit jarring, but not CAD: The Animated Series-level bad.
>>89112898
Don't get me wrong, is freaky to see them moving like that
But it ani't something to doomsay over
>>89114150
it sure is
>>89114084
>it looks fine
Just because it doesn't look the worst doesn't mean it looks good.
>>89113382
Probably animated by the same company (Elliot Animation)

>>89114375
>The right arm has a bolded outline while everything else has a fine outline
It's so out of place that that was LITERALLY the first thing I spotted.
>>89113507
>>89113680
Shut up PhantomStrider
>>89113942
What is
>Channel Chasers
>Abra-Catastrophe
>Wishology
There are others, but the first was intended to be the final, the others as a "last attempt". Nick however said fuck you and here we are today.
>>89114150
It was made for the web in the beginning of the 2000s so it is ought to look horrible.
What is that episode called?
The most jarring part is the thick black outlines are no longer just around the actual edge of characters but individual parts get thick outlines too
Timmy's head has one that goes all the way around (including in front of the neck in >>89112898
So does Chet in >>89112931
Why do they do the tween bounciness when it has never been part of the FOP animation style before? Wouldn't it be easier to just tween between poses without extra bouncy?
>I've done everything possible to kill my own show, can you take the hint yet Nick?
Anyone have a link to the full episode? I wanna see this trainwreck from start to finish.
>>89112898
I see nothing wrong.
>>89114375
>>89114084
IT STINKS!
>>89114084
>it looks fine
No it really doesn't. It looks fine in stills but it has the toxic combination of extremely bouncy animation, being animated almost entirely using auto tween (bar the mouth and eyes) and pretty rarley using any other assets other than the default flash character models and expressions.
The WebM I posted is from a currently airing show with a similar art style that uses Flash in a much better and eye pleasing manner.
>>89112558
Wasn't Motorcity animated in Flash?
Can I get a gif, plz?
>>89112898
The tween bouncing makes it worse
>>89120130
That's not just regular flash though, they're doing a lot of stylized CG shit for the backgrounds
>>89120166
why, so you can post it on reddit or tumblr?
>>89119861
Well he has that new show Bunsen is a Beast coming up so FOP shouldn't be alive for much longer right?
>>89120250
FOP existed alongside danny phantom and tuff puppy, so hartman working on another show isn't exactly a death sentence for FOP
>>89112898
>TFW you have a fucking arm growing out of your cheekThe flash animation doesn't actually bother me that much.
>>89120358
it's just weird seeing FOP so squishy
plus the corners they're cutting on the thick outline (different individual shapes have the outline rather than it being actually the border of a character)
>>89112898
Jesus Christ, just let it die.
>>89120231
Yes, it does use CGI for the backgrounds but the topic of conversation in this thread is about character animation, not background animation.
Just because the backgrounds are 3D CGI doesn't mean the characters can't be flash animated.
>>89112898
I'm getting some Johnny Test and TDI vibes from the animation. It's not even bad, it just feels so out of place for FOP, ya know?
I mean the animation looks like something you'd see on Newgrounds or YouTube with all of the tweening.
