Monthly Morrison thread! Lets discuss a little of his work,

I see a lot of praise for Animal Man, but what are the actualy pros and cons. Everyone just says its Morrison's best work, along side Doom Patrol.

Fine, consistent artwork. Great introduction to the meta side of DC cosmology. Krusty.
Character writing is kind of "eh". Not bad but still. Definitely should read.

I think Coyote Gospel is great metafiction, but Deus Ex Machina was pretty bad. It was the same concept just drawn out and this time Morrison shows up to explain the meaning to the reader.
