Have you guys figured out why the grimm only attack humans (and faunus) and their creations? According to Qrow (who according to Ozpin), the grimm were made before humans as a force of destruction and then the creator of grimm played a deliberate role in the creation of humans.

I'm guessing Salem highjacked them or something. If she is a grimm, maybe she figured that wiping out human's and faunus is the hard part, and possibly has to be done before humans (and faunus) get advanced enough, and once the humans and faunus are out of the way the grimm can destroy all life.

Tbqh, I know I sound like a JNPRfag here, but I would like it to Jaune or Nora. Mainly because, the dynamic could be quite interesting, in either cases.
