Well OP look harder the information is widely available. Most of the big animation studios are unionized and roughly follow the industry recommend rates. So if you want to know go to the animation guild. The creators don't just get more money for having a popular show they are just happy to have jobs like anyone else.

Any smart studio will buy the rights of the show first then make it with creator as lead writer or animator.

So creators don't make more or less then anyone else but do get a good chunk at the beginning plus name recognition.
