The only show I think that still does this that I've seen is Adventure Time. I don't watch many other shows, but I know Regular Show kinda stopped with it for awhile because the animation got stiff and they actually had them with joins/elbows, even so often the boarders would write jokes about how Rigby's elbows were so pointy.

Adventure Time is the bare basic bone of noodle arms and it's never stopped. It's part of the show's specific style of cute and wacky but also serious sometimes.
