Dude repetition dialogue has been a thing since forever and can be used for good effect. Hell when Bendis does it well I've seen co praise him for it. Like his first new issue of Jessica Jones was well received in this board.

However when Bendis is not in his A-game his dialogue is especially cringe worthy. So yeah if King's repetition dialogue seems shit for the readers here then comparing him to Bendis seems like an apt insult.

I liked some parts of the dialogue, however some pages do feature really awkward clunkly exchange between the two.

My logic is that Helena means endgame but given the 'never gonna stop' attitudes towards Batman and Catwoman a kid will never be an option. Helll she gives up her daughter in the old world. Can't speak for Vision but I am a fan of Kyle and did notice him taking liberties with character. The story was good though so I didn't mind and even putting characters aside though, his dialogue and plotting for Batman for the last arc has been unusually poor. All the biweekly Rebirth books I've been reading from writers that I've liked have been poorly paced and of varying quality so it could just be that they're all cutting corners to keep up with the schedule.

The biggest problem about having Helena Wayne in the main continuity is that her main reason to be is the fact that her mother was a former thief that was killed because of her shady past.

That's why they chose Catwoman as the new heroes mother in the 60's instead of going with the traditional Batwoman (Kathy Kane). They felt that having Catwoman, a former villain, who's killed by her former henchman, would add the necessary angst and purpose for the new hero. Huntress would vow to catch her mother's killer and would always fear that one day she might end up as her mother, a villain, instead of like her father, a hero.

So having Helena Wayne in the main continuity means having to kill Catwoman. Maybe that's the idea, i don't know. Having Bane has her killer.
