Even fully accepting the MCU synergy, even reading the characters as their actors to make up for the flat dialogue, hell even divorcing all of my opinions about the book as a continuation of something better... it's STILL terribly flat, boring, and often times, even inconsistent within the confines of its own continuity.

The sole redeeming quality of the book is the art. It's a damn nice showcase for some great artists. Everything else is inoffensive at best, and at worst, mind-bogglingly stupid when an ounce of thought is applied.
