Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age!
But enough about me, how was your day?
Curt Swan only drew the cover, but I love cover stories.
Did James Robinson fit this fuckonaut in his Starman legacy too?

I don't think so...

>Puts liquid on spotlight lens
>somehow transmits the liquid's effects to whoever it shines on
Even accounting for heat and evaporation, I don't think that's how that works.

the silver age is one hell of a drug
>>88862547
>a batman costume - under the starman costume
his confusion is understandable, why would batman do that?

>Jimmy Olsen's watch broke and summoned a genie
I have to wonder how the writers came up with that one (also will something like that ever happen in the DCEU?)
That's enough of the Silver Age for today...

... Warren King was born 101 years ago...

So, how's your day been?
Only two for today - sorry, but the MTCDC-NMC torrents are just horrendous at seeding these days. I can remember when you could start one of those torrents, go take a piss, and when you got back you'd find a dozen issues already downloaded.
I almost forgot to mention - as usual, I won't be here tomorrow, but it looks like might be skipping Friday as well. Sorry, but that's real life for you.

That's enough of the Silver Age for today...

... Barbara Rush is 90 today...
... Sorrell Booke would've been 87...
... Matt Frewer is 59...
... as is Julian Sands...
... April Winchell is 57...
... Michael France, who wrote the screenplays for Hulk and The Punisher, would've been 55...
... Dave Foley is 54...
... Greg Cipes is 37...
... Mae Questel died 19 years ago today...
... and Grenfell Jones died ten years ago...
... as did Steve Krantz, who produced Fritz the Cat and Rocket Robin Hood.
Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back soon, knock on wood, to give you all some more Silver Age silliness, as well as the usual stuff.

I worked. Now I'm comfy.
I have a question, what has silver age that makes it so special? What are their main differences with the golden age?
I can read the Wiki entry, I know, but I need specifically the /co/ opinion on the subject.
Tell me anon, tell me about the Silver Age.
Momsied in return.

>>88900651
Huh, did that actually happen? This sounds like the perfect plot to redo, only with Scarecrow.
This thread's still alive... again?!
>>88899017
Well, the 50's Silver Age stories were just delightfully nutty, working under their own logic. The 60's, however, completely revolutionised the medium, thanks to Smiling Stan's shownmanship and Kirby/Ditko/etc. just doing the stories they always wanted to do.
