I'm a pleb when it comes to comics; the only ones I've read are from the paper.
Anyway, for some reason I've gotten this urge to start reading comic books. What are some recent comic book series I could read? Preferably something that doesn't have more than 100 back issues. Thanks.
Here's the secret of reading cape comics.
The almost 1000 back issues that Action and Detective Comics have? You can mostly ignore. The closest point in the past you need to start reading a series is the earliest point that a new writer takes over.
So right now for DC, that would be the start of their Rebirth initiative with it's new set of #1s.
