i only played clash royale but i still get most of the references but a lot of the jokes dont really need you to have played the games

it's be nice if they had more VAs than just tom kenny and tres macneile. not that i dont like their voices, it's just some variety would be nice

I have never played clash of clans and I get most of the jokes. Sure I've played some tower defense games before and that helps. However, the humor style is pretty simplistic and straightforward. It isn't innovate (though it is well put together).

What I have mixed feelings about is the normalization of free2play mechanics. One of the latest ones they put out had an "upgraded town hall" joke where "instantly" means 7 days. This is an official animation and they are hanging a lampshade on that kind of thing.

5 of the legendaries I managed to acquire for free from chests before I even decided to spend money on the game. And even then I've only spent $20, which is chump change compared to the thousands of dollars the whales spend daily.

Genuinely surprised at how well done this show was made. I noticed a few references to The Simpsons and Da Ali G Show in there as well
