When Hal started using Krona's gauntlet at one point it fucked up and started turning him into a construct, he forged his new ring out of his own willpower, I guess to use to anchor himself better since before when he turned all constructy it was hard for him to turn back?

Soranik did surgery on him and said he seemed normal so I guess he's not ACTUALLY a construct 100% of the time
