Yeah, I'd looked at it, though it was a bit pricey, then the next day won a £50 amazon voucher at an end of year team thing at work. Got it ordered on Friday and it was here for Christmas eve.

It's probably fucked anyway. I've bought special editions from the same company before and their quality control is comically bad. They always sort it out, but I've had replacement discs for Cowboy Bebop (minor issue with the textless opening special features) and Durarara (no subs for text, which is a big deal when text messages play such a big role) and replacement packaging for Gurren Lagann (disc holders not attached to box properly). The fact that they've always fixed it in the past means I'm happy to take the risk, though.

Had a pretty good haul. Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?, DnA Guardians of the Galaxy part 1, Eisner's Contract with God Trilogy, Omega Men, Wytches, and Quantum and Woody from friends and /co/ Christmas threads. Also got was DC: The New Frontier. Little disappointed in the new paperback release. Non-glossy paper, so the colors really don't pop the way I feel like they should. But I also might have no idea what I'm talking about.

Also a glorious Kamen Rider Figuarts from /co/.

Thinking of buying the first Waid Flash collection for myself. Worried that it will be cancelled before they complete the whole run.

Bone's amazing. The one volume edition is just tough because it's one of those books that's so massive, so the spine can get messed up if you aren't careful. Mine's held up well though, and you can still open it enough to appreciate the art.

I've read Dangerous Habits like 3 times so I just wanted to launch into ennis Hellblazer, I think i know enough about the character already to figure shit out as i go.

I didn't get anything specifically for Christmas but here's what I bought recently.
I was at book fare where I got some gift cards that I used on the bottom 8 and I also used a black Friday sale on Complete Eightball so I got it for 45℅ off.
The top 6 together along with The Hypo (which got lost in the mail but I asked Book Depository to send me a new copy) were 52% on BD. I've found some crazy sales on the site -- at times they disappear but come back the next day.

The Cap stuff is very, very enjoyable. Starts a little rough, but otherwise It's top shelf silver age Marvel.
I got the first Omni as a gift along with a couple other things. I fucking loved it. The second omni is pure 70's Kirby insanity. Madbomb and Kirby Falcon alone make it worth the price, imo.
Madbomb is one of those comics that I have to stop myself from reading again every time I think of it.
If you like Kirby, you owe it to yourself to at least read the CA stuff on unlimitef.
Also, a word of warning. I love Kirby Thor, more by far even than Simonson's, but the inking is mostly Coletta and sometimes it is painfully bad.
Also start with the second Omni, the series really finds its way at about 121.

I bought some original art for myself, pic related. Have to buy a frame for it since the one I have is like a half inch too short which is quite frustrating.

Also received God Loves, Man Kills which I'm excited to finally read, Whisper of the Heart, From Up on Poppy Hill (courtesy of the /co/ holiday thread), and a gift card to my LCS. I gave out a ton of comics this year to other people too because I kept hearing "oh I want to read ____" from people all year so I just made a list of what people said they wanted to read and bought it for them.

I've honestly never heard anything about that. To my knowledge the music in the film was made for the film.

It does have to two separate audio tracks, one PG and the original intended theatrical release. The other a doctored version made by one of the co-producers that was meant for an older audience and was played often on HBO until the director got wind of it.
