One thing I always really appreciated in IZ which I don't see mentioned often in these threads is the mysterious world building, for instance how the president seems to be some kind of puppet or like how the skool is controlled by some kind of shady organization that sends drones to execute their bidding or that one time Dib has to go to the school therapist, who is very afraid of whoever is in charge, like they could just make him disappear if he displeases them. Or how Dib's eyeball group that he talks to seem like they are actually legit invested in the paranormal. And that is just what's going on on earth, not even mentioning the Irkens and their motherbrains/AI-backpacks/galactic empire
