Hey /co/mrades, I just had to put my cat down, recommend therapeutic comics?
Either palliative or cathartic is fine.
Pic related as I'm starting with Grant Morrison's run on animal man and the filth and, if those don't make me cry, We3.
Also downloading Secret of NIMH because her name was Dragon and she too was a ferocious asshole that killed without mercy.

I'm so sorry, OP.
Your cat sounds awesome. You could also watch Felidae and Aristocats.

Just get a new cat
Silver Sufer: Requiem

You can't just replace a cat like that.

Thanks. I'll look those up.

I'd rather get more comics. Comics don't get heart failure.
UPDATE:
Somehow, Morrison's Animal Man has even more dying cats than I remember. The first issue has this kitten's mother being tossed to dogs, and the siblings of the litter quietly giving up on life.
Meanwhile, Buddy's adventures are horrifying and precarious, he is struggling to survive, let alone succeed in any real way.
This is painful but fascinating and I'm gonna press on.
Not a cat but still this deification of Wile E. Coyote involved a lot of animal brutality, and at the same time we start to see the presence of the creator manifest in the work.
Dead Cat reference by suicidal Senior-Villain, Red Mask. Depression and psychosis are rampant in the villain community, no surprise. This poor sap just got the wrong powers from the meteor.
Maybe everything will be alright. Maybe we all can get into the justice league even though our powers don't work so good and sometimes we let villains go if they are sad enough. Maybe.
Previous to this, the alien scientists who, we are told, Made/Re-made/Re-wrote/Retconned Animal Man into existence have pressed the reset button on buddy again, reforming him into a whole new man, one without children. Status of the cat has been uncertain for a minute
Assumed Status: SCHRODINGER
WE3

I'm thinking I might close with WE3, it's rather on the nose and it ends on a good note.
Meanwhile, the metanarrative is practically a supporting character in and of itself.
Morrison has a lot of feels. Even the filfth. I don't know how.
