Is the Living Tribunal the new Apocalypse and Darkseid in terms of jobber status?
>>
>>88628078
We don't actually know if Adam is dead. Let's wait until next issue before jumping to conclusions.
>>
>>88628078
Is this official art? It looks awful.
>>
Legit art? It looks like... I don't know. Sequel to War Machine MAX.
>>
>>88628211
Some pages look better than others. Foreman's linework is good, but it needs the right coloring to make it work when not in black and white and the colorist they have on the book is fucking garbage.
>>
>>88628211
>>88628249

It's supposed to be what Anti-Man sees.
>>
>>88628300
Shit sight.
>>
>>88628277
>the colorist they have on the book
You mean Foreman?
>>
>>88628322
Well he does wear a mask that covers his eyes. Probably not the best move.
>>
>>88628365
I love it when characters put on masks to look cooler only to be blind as bats and hit all walls.
>>
>>88628353
There's actually another colorist on the book besides Foreman, but Foreman's always been awful at coloring because he tries to use digital coloring which he apparently sucks at. It's just that the second colorist on the book that's presumably there to clean up after Foreman is either making it somehow worse or is completely wasted.
>>
I've never really considered Apoc a jobber. Like he always talks big, but he's just incredibly uncreative with his powers because he's never actually had to use them to their fullest, and when he actually needs to use them, he never can use them well because he really doesn't know how.
I guess maybe it's a just me but Apocalypse never really struck me as being all that smart either. He's just been incredibly lucky. Like even in AoA, he arguably only got to where he was by sheer dumb luck and remarkably impeccable timing coupled with a handful of dastardly intellignet advisors. He never had to face a significant challenger on his road to ascendancy.

Or even in the case of Cable, he had to resort to cheap tricks and still lost cause he's a master of underestimating his opponents.

Tl;dr Apocalypse is a fucking idiot whose secondary mutation is being in the right place at the right time.
>>
>>88628277
just like at DC foreman does good linework on some pages and then pencils the absolute minimum on others
his JLU stuff was trash half the pages too

It's alright

If Chaos and Order get out of hand, Galactus will just sucker punch the shit out of them and watch them cry like a little bitch again
>>
>>88628725
>>
>>88628078
Foreman's books should always show the pencils, the colorist on this is really bad.
>>
>>88628078
The Ultimates have consistantly been shit with a terrible writer trying to ape some high cosmic shit while failing utterly.
>>
>>88628211
This is the artstyle used for the "abstract" plane, the regular universe scenes have different art.
>>
>>88628078
This doesn't make any sense.

Living Tribunal is higher than Chaos, Order and Galactus.

Why are Chaos and Order floating heads and not actual people?

Why does Galactus being reversed suddenly give him power over Order and Chaos?

Isn't Galactus's role as a worldeater important? Isn't him doing the reverse extremely bad?

Galactus knows this, why is he not emploring to be returned to normal?

>>
>>88629555
The preceding pages had the LT determine that the new multiverse's hierarchy is in flux, so he isn't sure yet if Galactus truly needs to be the worldeater. Since the hierarchy is still in flux, Chaos and Order decided to make a place to put themselves at the top.

This storytime is still even in the archives, but "/co/ doesn't read comics" etc etc

>>
>>88629630
>>88629661

I confused them with Eternity and Infinity as floating galaxy people.

Also >>88629615
Sounds like it's just pisspoor writing to get around all the holes the sub-par writer creates.

Why bother writing High Cosmic Marvel when you ignore it and make your own OC donut steel stupidity?
>>
>>88629555
Order and Chaos have been floating heads for a long time.

Order and Chaos get mad at Galactus because he won't be the devourer.

Tribunal tells Order and Chaos he rejects their premise that Galactus must be the devourer, as Order's supposed order is arbitrary and self perpetuating I.e. it has to be this way because it used to be this way.

Tribunal tells Order and Chaos to fuck off, Galactus can be life finger if he wants, the 8th cosmos is still in flux and the cosmic hierarchy is fast and loose, not even Tribunal himself is definitively "the strongest" yet/anymore.

Order and Chaos kill Tribunal in anger to try and assert their own will over the multiverse.
>>
>>88629672
It's not ignoring anything, it's slavishly following up on all the "High Cosmic" shit that happened the past year.

Goddamn you are a special kind of stupid casual.
>>
>>88629490
Ewing can only write one book well at a time
Ultimates suffers while AIM Avengers was great.
>>
>>88629714
It's premise is stupid really.

It tried to sell itself as "Scientist Superman and his team of Ethnic heavy hitters Star Trek across Cosmic Marvel"

Instead we got "Ewing writes his OC fanfiction of cosmic Marvel."

It's rather pisspoor when Galactus gets turned into a petty superman expy.
>>
>>88628078
We'll see if he's actually dead next month.
Keep in mind, in the same issue this happened, the ghost of the Shaper of Worlds (a cosmic being that died a few months ago) showed up to warn everyone that NOTHING DIES.
>>
>>88629714
Ultimates turning to shit was hardly his fault. How was Ewing supposed to know that his book was going to turn into "Fixing Bendis's Fuck-ups: The Comic"?
>>
>>88629755
Oh boy, Period Drama in the high Cosmic world.

Will Galactus have an evil twin? Find out next month!
>>
>>88629785
This is blatant trolling at this point. You'll reach for anything to bitch about.
>>
>>88628078
>An omnipotent being that protects the multiverse second only to the creator of all things. Introduced and barely used for 30 or so years.
>Writers suddenly want to put him to use so he can stop being nothing more than a Wiki entry
>Proceeds to be killed twice in a year's time

The worst thing that can happen to a Marvel character nowadays is catching the interest of a writer
>>
>>88629813
No, my issue is the higher level cosmic ideas in Marvel are best used sparingly, and when you write an entire book about them and turn it into a big dramatic piece you make the characters less impactful.

This series has made Galactus go from a Melancholic god-being with a hidden humanity to a big floating human.
>>
>>88629756

Why didn't Chaos and Order just make someone ELSE Devourer?

In fact, shouldn't the devourer now having a newfound equal and opposite force (Galactus' new lifebringer role) give Master Order like a raging stiffy?
>>
>>88630268
Because they're all about MUH STATUS QUO. They liked things the way they were before and want them to stay that way forever.
>>
>>88629756
Everyone at Marvel who actually gives a damn has to deal with fixing Bendis.
>>
>>88630326
>They liked things the way they were before and want them to stay that way forever.
Well, until Adam Tribunal said "no, status quo is gay, fuck off" and they decided to just go YOLO and try to become the heads of the cosmic heirarchy themselves.

Which will no doubt bite them in the ass next issue with whatever Logos is.

Next issue is about Order and Chaos getting fucked up by something called "Logos" based off of the solicit for the issue and the "this year in ultimates" page having chaos and order saying "LOGOS" while looking really fucking worried.

We won't know who or what Logos is until the issue comes out though.
>>
>>88630328
Or you could always take the Hickman approach and say "Fuck it I just wont that character and make my own"
>>
>>88628411
He usually is, but sometimes he wrecks shop. I have an issue where he is recently resurrected and fucks up 6 of the X-Men in less than a minute and even says something about it like "Damn...I thought I was past my prime."
>>
I can understand people not liking LT being killed by the weird GoBots looking things.

But this so far has been pretty cool. A) We don't know he is dead yet, and B) it's been established this is a new chaotic Multiverse thingy where maybe the combined might of the two is enough to kill LT.

Those were the Map Makers that became enslaved by the Beyonders. The Adaptoids were never Beyonders.

>>88630616

The Beyonders were beings that came... from beyond the universe. They were living in the library or hall or whatever the nice looking place between universes was. Doom and Molecule Man were also there when they were doing their fake religion and black swan thing. They apparently can reproduce by creating a special kind of cosmic cube and allowing them to gain sentience?

I wonder if this means there will be interactions between the cosmic cube that turned cap hydra and another cosmic cube... Beyonder has cute little girl sibling he goes on adventures with?

Beyonders are from outside the multiverse. The Many-Angled-Ones are from the space between universes, so they're inside the multiverse.
>>
>>88641011
>the result of adaptoids and weird time shit
Nah, you're thinking of the Map Makers. The Beyonders are from outside the multiverse. They introduced a "map maker virus" into the multiverse which when super-adaptoids come in contact with, they turn into Mapmakers, which are The Beyonders' drones for mapping the multiverse.
>>
>>88642288
>They apparently can reproduce by creating a special kind of cosmic cube and allowing them to gain sentience?
All cosmic cubes are made by Beyonders, sorta. Basically, the process for making a Cosmic Cube is:
>create a container capable of handling cosmic energies (the cube)
>Poke a whole through the multiverse
>allow the energies from outside the multiverse to pour into the container/cube
>seal the hole
And those energies from outside the multiverse come from The Beyonders.

But then given enough time, a cosmic cube will gain sentience and basically turn into a baby Beyonder, which would imply that cosmic cubes are Beyonder eggs and the energy that's pouring into the cubes is Beyonder jizz.
>>
>>88641723
Kobik should just go on cosmic adventures with her older brother, Kubik.
