No one does. Most people would tell you to avoid it, but I think the best resource is that first documentary. You may be embarrassed by the people you see, but it does a good job explaining why people got so into it, and I think it was a good thing overall. I like it because it's a thoughtful show, so I'm dedicated, but I wouldn't group myself with them, not that it's necessarily a bad thing. I generally don't care much for fandom communities, anyway; they don't have the types of discussions I like.

Because the finale is probably one of the worst piece of media I've ever seen, and I am not joking or exaggerating. Every single possible flaw or mistake is in those few episode, condensed together.
Let's just name a few:
>Pacifica doesn't get anymore character development. She should have remained a bratty kid or have evolved completely, not this half assed shit
>Stanley is a Mary Sue character, that was known since the start, but this reaches obnoxious levels in the finale
>A fuckton of plot points are dropped.
